Slides from TechMixer University

It’s been a while since my last post, but as many of you know, Arkham City came out =p (warning: there is some language in this comic, but it’s so incredibly accurate).

Anyway, here’s a PDF of the slides from my Committed to Good Commits talk at TechMixer University on 9/27/2011. This deck is primarily composed of bullets, but that might actually be for the best this time since I didn’t get a recording. Through the power of bullets, you might stand some chance of knowing what I covered.

This topic is near and dear to my heart, so I’d be glad to give this talk again or expound on any of the points here in the comments. Just let me know!

Also, with any luck, I’ll actually get the video and slides from my continuous integration talk up by this weekend. Stay tuned.

About David Ruttka

I've been "making computers do things" since I first saw King's Quest on a 286 PC in the mid-80's, but I turned it into a career just over a decade ago. While the majority of my experience has been on the Microsoft stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET), I've recently been diving deeper into JavaScript and exploring the Ruby universe. Occasionally, I'll do a public speaking gig or write a blog post. When I'm not coding, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching hockey, and playing the occasional video game. You can also find me on Stack Overflow, Google Plus, and Twitter. Microsoft Certified Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist; MCPD Windows Developer 3.5
